I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

Was chosen of the Lord
To be the start and help impart
Salvation to the world

By God's plan a covenant
Established through his seed
The Righteous One - Redeemer
Providing for our need

By God's plan 'tis Jesus Christ
The perfect Son of God
Fulfilling the great promise
Of God the Faithful One

Jehovah - God Almighty
The one who ne'er relents
His faithfulness forever
Poured out on the remnant

From all the people of the earth, God chose one man, Abraham, and promised that his descendants would become a great nation and bless the entire world (Genesis 12:1-5).
