This beautiful book by Tasha Tudor is one of my all-time favorites. It features wonderfully illustrated images for each month of the year and transports the reader into a magnificent time of simplicity and love. I have always loved the changing seasons, and this book offers a glorious picture of how the created world changes throughout the year.
Tasha offers a vast array of ideas for creating cherished traditions with your family and friends. It portrays how simple it is to transport yourself and your children into a beautiful world of make-believe and fun. It’s a wonderful resource for anyone who feels a little “stuffy” in their approach to life. It has offered a new & exciting way to engage with my daughter and allowed me to be less serious. I highly recommend it!
Tasha Tudor, one of America’s most loved illustrators, was born in Boston and grew up in Connecticut, the daughter of a portrait painter and a designer of yachts. She has lived her entire life in New England, for many years in New Hampshire and at present in Vermont. Her first book, Pumpkin Moonshine, appeared in 1938. There have been more than forty books since that time.
