The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1
When darkness surrounds my being, I feel You, body and soul. You are the same from day to day. There's nothing that you do not know. When darkness seems thicker than light, I see You, still shining dim. You reside in eternal light. I'll cling to the end of Your hem. When darkness hold distressing thoughts, I hear You, whisper to me. Trust Me now with all of your heart. I'll provide for your every need.
my inspiration
Thou who art from everlasting to everlasting, I would turn my thoughts to Thee as the hours of darkness and of sleep begin. Oh Sun of my soul, I rejoice to know that all night I shall be under the unsleeping eye of the One who dwells in eternal light.
