Father, please teach Lydia Beth, early in life, the power and importance of prayer. Please show her that prayer is a gift from God to believers in Jesus Christ, allowing them to confidently approach the throne of grace.
God, help Lydia Beth to understand that prayer is a way that she can pour out her heart to you in vulnerability and trust. Allow her prayers to bring her into intimacy with her Creator.
Lord, help prayer strengthen her with power over sin, defeat, shame, and fear. Help her to pray often. May prayer break the stronghold of evil in her life and allow her to walk in truth and freedom.
Thank you for teaching me that: prayer is the foundation of power that enables transformation in my life; please guide her on that.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
And this is our prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to determine what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.PHILIPPIANS 1:9-11 NIV
