Much of this year has been in quarantine due to COVID-19, but it hasn’t stopped you from growing and flourishing. You’re such a delightful toddler and spend most of your days either walking at a snail’s pace or running at the speed of sound. You learned how to walk this year, and you walk your balance bike around with a massive grin on your face. You say “Dada” and “Mama” without any effort, and when you say, “all done,” it sounds like “onion.” Ha. Ha. It is so cute! You dance in your crib each morning when we sing, and we often find books in your crib that you have gotten off the wall during the night. You are a joy to be around, and we love you!
Jesus, Thank you so much for two years with this little girl. She is such a delight to be around. The funny things she says and her cute little mannerisms have us laughing most days. We can already tell that toddlerhood will bring with it its own set of challenges. As Lydia is developing and growing with independence and personal preference, we need your continued wisdom. Please help us to be gentle as we come alongside Lydia to process these emotions and feelings. Please help us to know what boundaries are best and what others need an extra dose of grace. Thank you for being the perfect Father for us. We know we can count on you to show us the way, as Lydia enjoys being two years old. We love you, Jesus. Help us show Lydia the same kind of love.Amy Keck
