As many as touched Him were made whole.Mark 6:56
A brush of His garment is all that it took A simple touch as He meant to pass by The hem of His robe is found in The Book The good fight of faith shall forever be mine
God’s way of passing by, of letting His “hem” come near us, is to take some single word in His Book and make it breath spirit and life to us. Then, relying upon that word – meditating, feeding our souls on it – we find it suddenly possible to go from strength-to-strength.
There is always the word waiting in His Book, which will meet us where we are and carry us further on. True, it will be a fight to the end – Paul calls it “the good fight of faith” (1 Timothy 6:12). But full provision is made for victory in that fight.

My sweet Dad, John Kennedy, was diagnosed with ALS on July 19, 2022. He is braving the most devastating diagnosis that I could imagine. In prayer, he refers to this trial as “My great hurt” and I never want to forget this.
On Monday, February 6, 2023 (only seven months after my Dad’s diagnosis of ALS), the neurologist told us that my Dad could contact hospice – whenever he felt ready. I need the courage to trust – just like my Dad. He is the bravest man that I know.
