Most days, Lydia and I have had quite a different view than Jeremiah. He’s been off walking miles on end and working his hardest to bring home a mule deer. In contrast, we’ve had ample time to relax and enjoy the shortening days of Fall. When planning our trip, I don’t think I could have hand selected a better place to stay than this beautiful ranch. Not only is it located smack in the middle of one of the zones that Jeremiah can hunt, but the host family has been a delight to get to know. They have two small children and have shown us the most hospitable time on their ranch. They even gave us a set of elk horns to take home and enjoy! I have felt right at home in this breathtaking place and hope we get the opportunity to come back someday to visit and maybe even take home an elk or two of our own.
